Bernardo Quinzaños participated in the panel “El diálogo de la arquitectura con el espacio público,” held as part of The Real Estate Show 2026. Polideportivo de Alto Rendimiento & Estadio Manuel Vargas Izquierdo received the Obra del Año award in the Urban Improvement category, granted by Expansión Magazine in its December 2024 edition.
The call for entries was aimed at professionals in construction, architecture, and real estate in Mexico, with the goal of recognizing projects that contribute to development and improve quality of life.
The jury evaluated aspects such as the project’s integration into the urban space and its effective use. “These spaces will attract more people,” stated Víctor Antonio López Rodríguez, coordinator of the Master’s program in Engineering with a specialization in Construction Management at Universidad Iberoamericana and a member of the jury.
Polideportivo de Alto Rendimiento & Estadio Manuel Vargas Izquierdo received an Honorable Mention in the Urbanism and Territory Projects category from the organizing committee of the first Bienal de Urbanismo de México.
The review process, carried out by evaluators appointed by the Asociación Mexicana de Urbanistas (AMU), highlighted “the high quality and level of the projects submitted by urbanists from across the country.”

Pabellón de las Orquídeas was named Cultural Space of the Year by the 2024 FRAME Awards grand design industry jury.

“In the perennial heat of Jalpa de Méndez, the CDC stands today as an urban oasis. Quinzaños opted against the conventional approach of enclosing the entire building and relying solely on air conditioning. Instead he embraced the challenge of integrating open spaces that could be experienced comfortably despite the punishing climate.
The solution was to organize the building’s program around a verdant courtyard traversed by eight distinctive arches, creating a cool microclimate conducive to human activity.”

The project’s particular condition lies in its double-fronted lot, which allowed the program to be organized into two towers, each with a main façade facing Barranca del Muerto and José María Ibarrarán. Inside, a space contains the shared vertical circulation core, as well as a ten-story central courtyard onto which the corridors leading to the apartments open.

CCA participated in the exhibition “México Arquitectura Contemporánea” at Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. Inaugurated on September 28, 2015, the exhibition presented a selection of 56 works built in Mexico City between 2005 and 2015.
Casa Estudio Hill received an Honorable Mention in the Single-Family Housing category at the II Bienal de Arquitectura Mexicana de la Ciudad de México, organized by the Colegio de Arquitectos de la Ciudad de México.

Vinícola Cuna de Tierra received the Silver Medal in the Industry category at the XIII Bienal Nacional de Arquitectura Mexicana, within the framework of the 50th anniversary of the Federación de Colegios de Arquitectos de la República Mexicana.
CASAVIVA published Casa Las Tinajas in its 71st edition. Located in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, the project was presented in the article “Paradise in Port”, which discusses fragmentation and modular construction on a site with wetlands, coconut trees, and lagoons.
