CS5 project is part of a series of single-family weekend residences located at the Amanali Golf Club, in Tepeji del Río, Hidalgo.
The project takes its starting point from the plot’s diamond shape: in addition to the floor plan’s geometry, a slope descends from one corner of the diamond to the other, generating spectacular views of the nearby reservoir.
The house is set on a large concrete plinth that houses the service areas, above which rises the two-story structure with a sloping roof.
The program unfolds on each side of the house’s central, double-height space. Each room is oriented towards a double-height colonnade that runs the length of the main façade that faces the lake. On the ground floor, this colonnade extends the house’s interior toward the terrace, while on the upper floor, it supports a long balcony.
