Dunas

2026, Puerto Escondido

Dunas proposes a residential community facing the Pacific, integrated into the Macahuite ecological reserve on the coast of Oaxaca.

Located between Puerto Escondido and Huatulco, the masterplan is organized as a low-density system composed of 31 houses, internal pathways, controlled access points, communal spaces, and a clubhouse connected to the reserve and the beach. The project places the houses among the vegetation, maintaining a direct relationship with the surroundings and reducing the built presence within the landscape.

Each house is conceived with social spaces, bedrooms, a terrace, and a private pool, designed to encourage shade, natural ventilation, and visual continuity with the vegetation. The clubhouse serves as the collective space of the community, with a pool and places for rest and relaxation.
