Pachuca 45 is a hospitality building in the Condesa neighborhood of Mexico City, conceived for short-term stays and vacation rentals. The project begins with the presence of an existing house within a larger site, to which a new architectural piece is added, completing the ensemble and activating its relationship with the city.
Located between Pachuca and Juan de la Barrera streets, the project responds to the walkable, cultural, and gastronomic character of the area. The proposal organizes studio rooms, apartments, common areas, patios, gardens, parking, and a roof garden, creating a lodging experience that combines a domestic scale with the efficiency of a hospitality building.
The intervention incorporates the existing construction as part of the identity of the ensemble. Around it, a new contemporary volume frames patios and circulation areas, creating a transition between the architectural memory of the site and the current dynamics of urban hospitality.
