Parque Educativo Queretaro

2016, Querétaro

Parque Educativo Querétaro is an educational master plan in Querétaro, a growing city connected to the industrial, technological, and educational development of the Bajío region. Conceived as a shared campus, the project integrates different academic institutions, research spaces, sports facilities, and complementary programs within a single university community. It proposes a flexible and adaptable model, capable of bringing together universities, specialized schools, and collaborative workspaces in a common environment.

A series of academic buildings is organized around plazas, patios, gardens, and pedestrian paths that function as spaces for encounter and exchange. Rather than focusing solely on classrooms, the campus understands education as an experience that also takes place in open spaces, where coexistence between different institutions can generate new forms of learning, collaboration, and innovation.

The complex is structured through a modular logic that allows for phased growth, while maintaining the identity and independence of each institution. Landscape, circulation, and shared areas articulate the project, creating an educational park where architecture, community, and knowledge are integrated into a single system.
