Parque Infonavit

2019, Acaponeta

As part of the public space projects developed by CCA in Acaponeta for INFONAVIT, Parque INFONAVIT establishes the conceptual and spatial foundations for the later interventions in the municipality. The site contains an existing water tank with an exposed concrete structure which, in an effort to integrate with the place, gives rise to the proposal for a modular concrete pavilion that engages in dialogue with the site’s preexisting elements.

This pavilion creates a shaded space for rest, accompanied by a tree-lined access plaza. The paving pattern is designed to follow the rhythm of walking while respecting the existing trees.

The planting selection incorporates native species, including ficus and pink and yellow primavera trees. The project also integrates playful spaces such as sports courts and children’s play areas, elements requested by the community.
